Islamabad: ‘I am Malala’ a book written by the Pakistani educational ambassador and global icon has met several criticisms by the media men and local people. All Private School Federation Chief Kashif Mirza has informed the news sources of banning the private schools from purchasing the book.

In an interview to one of the international news agency, Mirza said that we have denied access to local students owing to the controversial content that is carries.

Calling Malala’s book as ‘anti-Pakistan’ would be no wrong since it talks about norms, ethics contradictory to Islamic teachings and that of country’s own sovereignty and ideology. He said that we are not against Malala. We accept her as daughter of our nation but the perspectives presented by her in the book are unacceptable, clarified the high official about the decision that came upon.

There are around 152,000 private schools across Pakistan. All had expressed sympathy with Malala when the 16 year old girl came under Taliban attack last year in the month of October.

Controversies ignited after the book took to the stores after publication. Many called her West puppet. She insisted to her loyalty with Pakistan and said that under freedom of speech she has presented her thoughts.
